Researcher uses federal grant to investigate West Nile Virus

Georgia State University’s Margo Brinton, a Regents’ Professor in the Department of Biology, received a $289,000 federal stimulus grant from the National Institutes of Health to continue her research on West Nile virus, which is transmitted to humans by mosquitoes. Georgia State initiative works to encourage bicycling on campus

There are many who everyday brave Atlanta’s notorious traffic to commute to Georgia State by bicycle. Yet there are many more who want to bike to campus, but just don’t know where to start, according research by members of an initiative that’s aimed towards getting more people on bikes at GSU.
